GeForce GTX 650 vs Quadro K5000 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Quadro K5000 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 650 in gaming.
The GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro K5000 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly lower TDP at 64 W when compared to the Quadro K5000 at 122 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Quadro K5000 over the GeForce GTX 650.
