GeForce GTX 1660 vs Quadro P400 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1660 GPU is faster than the Quadro P400 in gaming.
The GeForce GTX 1660 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce GTX 1660 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Quadro P400 has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1660 at 120 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1660 is better than the Quadro P400.
