GeForce GTX 1660 vs Quadro M4000 comparison

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card is better than the Quadro M4000 in our tests.

Our database shows that the GeForce GTX 1660 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro M4000 has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, both the GeForce GTX 1660 and the Quadro M4000 have an identical TDP. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GTX 1660 over the Quadro M4000.
