GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q vs Radeon RX 6700M comparison
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 6700M beats the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6700M has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 6700M has significantly more memory with 10 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q has a significantly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6700M at 135 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 6700M is faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q.
