GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q vs GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q in gaming.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q has a slightly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q at 80 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q is faster than the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q.
