GeForce GTX 1080 vs Quadro K3100M comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1080 GPU is faster than the Quadro K3100M in gaming.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 1080 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce GTX 1080 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.

In addition, the Quadro K3100M has a significantly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1080 at 180 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 1080 is faster than the Quadro K3100M.
