GeForce GTX 1080 Ti vs Radeon RX 7800 XT benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 7800 XT beats the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 7800 XT has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Radeon RX 7800 XT also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon RX 7800 XT has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 11 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has a slightly lower TDP at 250 W when compared to the Radeon RX 7800 XT at 263 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon RX 7800 XT is faster than the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
