GeForce GTX 1080 Ti vs Radeon RX 6600M benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti beats the Radeon RX 6600M in gaming performance.
The Radeon RX 6600M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6600M also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has slightly more memory with 11 GiB of memory compared to 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the Radeon RX 6600M has a significantly lower TDP at 100 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti at 250 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti over the Radeon RX 6600M.
