GeForce GTX 1060 vs Quadro K5000 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 1060 beats the Quadro K5000 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the GeForce GTX 1060 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce GTX 1060 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1060 has a slightly lower TDP at 120 W when compared to the Quadro K5000 at 122 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1060 is better than the Quadro K5000.
