GeForce GTX 1060 vs GeForce GTX 650 benchmarks

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is better than the GeForce GTX 650 in our tests.

The GeForce GTX 1060 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.

As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce GTX 1060 has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly lower TDP at 64 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1060 at 120 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 1060 is faster than the GeForce GTX 650.
