GeForce GTX 1060 6GB vs Quadro K420 benchmarks
For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card is better than the Quadro K420 in our tests.
Our database shows that the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB has significantly more memory with 6 GiB of memory compared to 1 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the Quadro K420 has a significantly lower TDP at 41 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB at 120 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB is better than the Quadro K420.
