GeForce GTX 1050 vs Radeon R7 M260 benchmarks

For gaming, the GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card is better than the Radeon R7 M260 in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 1050 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce GTX 1050 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

As stated by the manufacturer, the Radeon R7 M260 has significantly more memory with 4 GiB of memory compared to 2 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce GTX 1050 is faster than the Radeon R7 M260.
