GeForce GTX 1050 Ti vs Quadro RTX 4000 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Quadro RTX 4000 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in gaming.
The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the Quadro RTX 4000 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro RTX 4000 has significantly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 4 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti has a significantly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 4000 at 160 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Quadro RTX 4000 is faster than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
