For gaming, the Radeon R7 350 graphics card is better than the GeForce GT 740M in our tests.

In addition, the GeForce GT 740M has a significantly lower TDP at 33 W when compared to the Radeon R7 350 at 55 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
