GeForce GT 730 vs GeForce GTX 690 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 690 beats the GeForce GT 730 in gaming performance.
In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 690 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the GeForce GT 730 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 2 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the GeForce GT 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 49 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 690 at 300 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 690 is better than the GeForce GT 730.
