GeForce GT 1030 vs Quadro T1000 Max-Q comparison

For gaming, the GeForce GT 1030 graphics card is better than the Quadro T1000 Max-Q in our tests.

In our comparison, the GeForce GT 1030 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce GT 1030 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the GeForce GT 1030 has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the Quadro T1000 Max-Q at 50 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GT 1030 is better than the Quadro T1000 Max-Q.
