GeForce 920MX vs RTX A5000 Laptop benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the RTX A5000 Laptop beats the GeForce 920MX in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce 920MX has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the RTX A5000 Laptop has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the GeForce 920MX has a significantly lower TDP at 16 W when compared to the RTX A5000 Laptop at 140 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the RTX A5000 Laptop over the GeForce 920MX.
