FX-8320E vs Xeon E5-520 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the FX-8320E is faster than the Xeon E5-520. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-520 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the FX-8320E has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the FX-8320E has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-520. The Xeon E5-520 outputs less heat than FX-8320E thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-8320E has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Xeon E5-520. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
