FX-8300 vs Core i9-12900T comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-12900T is faster than the FX-8300. Despite this, the FX-8300 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i9-12900T has significantly more cores with 16 cores whereas the FX-8300 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the FX-8300. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-8300 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i9-12900T. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-8300 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i9-12900T. Despite this, the Core i9-12900T has significantly more L3 cache compared to the FX-8300.
