FX-770K vs Celeron J6412 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron J6412 is faster than the FX-770K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-770K in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron J6412 has significantly more cores than the FX-770K. Indeed, the Celeron J6412 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the FX-770K. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the FX-770K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J6412. The Celeron J6412 outputs less heat than FX-770K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the FX-770K has more L2 cache than the Celeron J6412
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the FX-770K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
