FX-6300 vs Xeon E5-620 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Xeon E5-620 beats the FX-6300 in overall performance. Despite this, the FX-6300 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-620 has slightly more cores with 4 cores whereas the FX-6300 has 3 cores. It also has more threads than the FX-6300. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-6300 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-620. Also, the FX-6300 has a much higher turbo speed. The Xeon E5-620 outputs less heat than FX-6300 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-6300 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Xeon E5-620. The FX-6300 also has significantly more L3 cache.
