FX-6300 vs Core i5-2500K benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-2500K performs better than the FX-6300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-6300 in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-2500K has slightly more cores than the FX-6300. Indeed, the Core i5-2500K has 4 cores compared to 3 cores found in the FX-6300.
