FX-4130 vs Pentium G4400 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the FX-4130 is faster than the Pentium G4400. Despite this, the Pentium G4400 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the FX-4130 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-4130 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Pentium G4400. The Pentium G4400 outputs less heat than FX-4130 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-4130 has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium G4400. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the FX-4130 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
