FX-4130 vs N100 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the FX-4130 is faster than the N100. Despite this, the N100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the FX-4130 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the FX-4130 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-4130 has significantly more L2 cache than the N100. Despite this, the N100 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the FX-4130.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the FX-4130 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
