FX-4130 vs FX-4300 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the FX-4130 performs better than the FX-4300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-4300 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. According to our data, the FX-4130 and FX-4300 have the same clock speed. The FX-4300 outputs less heat than FX-4130 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache and L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the FX-4130 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
