FX-4130 vs Celeron J6412 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron J6412 is faster than the FX-4130. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-4130 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron J6412 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the FX-4130 that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-4130 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron J6412. The Celeron J6412 outputs less heat than FX-4130 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the FX-4130 has more L2 cache than the Celeron J6412. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the FX-4130 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
