FX-4130 vs Celeron G4920 comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the FX-4130 performs better than the Celeron G4920. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron G4920 in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the FX-4130 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-4130 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Celeron G4920. The Celeron G4920 outputs less heat than FX-4130 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the FX-4130 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Celeron G4920. Despite this, the Celeron G4920 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the FX-4130.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the FX-4130 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
