FX-4100 vs FX-8320 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the FX-8320 is faster than the FX-4100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-4100 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the FX-8320 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the FX-4100 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the FX-4100. With our hardware info, we find that the FX-4100 has a slightly higher clock speed than the FX-8320. Despite this, the FX-8320 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A FX-4100 CPU outputs less heat than a FX-8320 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the FX-8320 has more L2 cache than the FX-4100. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
