CoreT i5-13500H vs Core Ultra 7 268V benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 7 268V beats the CoreT i5-13500H in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the CoreT i5-13500H in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the CoreT i5-13500H has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Core Ultra 7 268V that has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core Ultra 7 268V. With our hardware info, we find that the CoreT i5-13500H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core Ultra 7 268V. In terms of cache, the Core Ultra 7 268V has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the CoreT i5-13500H. Despite this, the CoreT i5-13500H has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Core Ultra 7 268V.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the CoreT i5-13500H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
