Core Ultra 7 265KF vs Ryzen AI 9 365 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 7 265KF beats the Ryzen AI 9 365 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen AI 9 365 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core Ultra 7 265KF has significantly more cores with 20 cores compared to the Ryzen AI 9 365 that has 10 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core Ultra 7 265KF has a significantly higher clock speed than the Ryzen AI 9 365. Also, the Core Ultra 7 265KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core Ultra 7 265KF has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen AI 9 365. The Core Ultra 7 265KF also has slightly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core Ultra 7 265KF has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
