Core Ultra 5 236V vs Core i3-14100F specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-14100F is faster than the Core Ultra 5 236V. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core Ultra 5 236V in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core Ultra 5 236V has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i3-14100F has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i3-14100F has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core Ultra 5 236V. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. In terms of cache, the Core Ultra 5 236V has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-14100F. Despite this, the Core i3-14100F has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Core Ultra 5 236V.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core Ultra 5 236V has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
