Core i9-9900K vs Core i7-13620H benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-13620H is faster than the Core i9-9900K. Despite this, the Core i9-9900K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13620H has slightly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Core i9-9900K has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i9-9900K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13620H. Also, the Core i9-9900K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-13620H has more L2 cache than the Core i9-9900K. The Core i7-13620H also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i9-9900K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
