Core i9-7980XE vs Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i9-7980XE performs better than the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX has slightly more cores than the Core i9-7980XE.
