Core i9-7900X vs Core i7-12800HX comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-7900X is faster than the Core i7-12800HX. Despite this, the Core i7-12800HX has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-12800HX has significantly more cores with 16 cores whereas the Core i9-7900X has 10 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i9-7900X. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i9-7900X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-12800HX. Despite this, the Core i7-12800HX has a slightly higher turbo speed.
