Core i9-14900K vs Ryzen 5 7600X benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-14900K is faster than the Ryzen 5 7600X. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 7600X in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i9-14900K has significantly more cores with 24 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 7600X has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 7600X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 7600X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i9-14900K. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i9-14900K has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 7600X. The Core i9-14900K also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i9-14900K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
