Core i9-11900KF vs Core i7-13650HX benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-13650HX is faster than the Core i9-11900KF. Despite this, the Core i9-11900KF has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-13650HX has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Core i9-11900KF has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i9-11900KF. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i9-11900KF has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-13650HX. Also, the Core i9-11900KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, both these CPUs have the same amount of L2 cache. The Core i7-13650HX also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i9-11900KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
