Core i9-11900K vs Ryzen 7 8845HS benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i9-11900K beats the Ryzen 7 8845HS in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 8845HS in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 8845HS has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i9-11900K. Despite this, the Core i9-11900K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 8845HS outputs less heat than Core i9-11900K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 7 8845HS has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i9-11900K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i9-11900K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
