Core i9-11900H vs Xeon E5-2650 v3 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-11900H is faster than the Xeon E5-2650 v3. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2650 v3 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2650 v3 has slightly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Core i9-11900H has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i9-11900H. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i9-11900H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon E5-2650 v3. Also, the Core i9-11900H has a significantly higher turbo speed. A Core i9-11900H CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2650 v3 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i9-11900H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
