Core i9-10900KF vs Core i7-13700H comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i9-10900KF performs better than the Core i7-13700H. Despite this, the Core i7-13700H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-13700H has slightly more cores than the Core i9-10900KF. Indeed, the Core i7-13700H has 14 cores compared to 10 cores found in the Core i9-10900KF. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i9-10900KF has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-13700H. Also, the Core i9-10900KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i7-13700H has more L2 cache than the Core i9-10900KF. The Core i7-13700H also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i9-10900KF has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
