Core i7-9700KF vs Ryzen Z1 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen Z1 is faster than the Core i7-9700KF. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-9700KF in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-9700KF has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Ryzen Z1 has 6 cores. Despite this, the Ryzen Z1 has more threads than the Core i7-9700KF. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-9700KF has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen Z1. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. The Ryzen Z1 outputs less heat than Core i7-9700KF thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen Z1 has more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700KF. The Ryzen Z1 also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700KF has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
