Core i7-9700KF vs Core i3-13100 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9700KF is faster than the Core i3-13100. Despite this, the Core i3-13100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-9700KF has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i3-13100 has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-9700KF has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-13100. Also, the Core i7-9700KF has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i3-13100 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700KF. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700KF has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
