Core i7-9700K vs Ryzen 7 7735HS comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 7 7735HS is faster than the Core i7-9700K. Despite this, the Core i7-9700K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Ryzen 7 7735HS has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-9700K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 7 7735HS. The info from our database shows that the Ryzen 7 7735HS has more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700K. The Ryzen 7 7735HS also has slightly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i7-9700K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
