Core i7-9700K vs Ryzen 5 7535U specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9700K is faster than the Ryzen 5 7535U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 7535U in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-9700K has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 7535U that has 6 cores. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 7535U has more threads than the Core i7-9700K. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-9700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 7535U. Also, the Core i7-9700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 7535U outputs less heat than Core i7-9700K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 7535U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-9700K. The Ryzen 5 7535U also has slightly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
