Core i7-9700K vs Core i3-14100F benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-14100F is faster than the Core i7-9700K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-9700K in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-9700K has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i3-14100F has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-9700K has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-14100F. Also, the Core i7-9700K has a slightly higher turbo speed. The info from our database shows that the Core i3-14100F has more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700K. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
