Core i7-9700F vs Core i7-11600H specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-9700F is faster than the Core i7-11600H. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-11600H in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-9700F has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Core i7-11600H has 6 cores. Despite this, the Core i7-11600H has more threads than the Core i7-9700F. Our comparison shows that the Core i7-9700F has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-11600H. Also, the Core i7-9700F has a slightly higher turbo speed. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Core i7-11600H has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700F. The Core i7-11600H also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700F has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
