Core i7-9700 vs Ryzen 5 7640U specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-9700 performs better than the Ryzen 5 7640U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 5 7640U in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-9700 has slightly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 7640U that has 6 cores.
