Core i7-9700 vs FX-8350 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-9700 performs better than the FX-8350. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-8350 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-9700 has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the FX-8350 that has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the FX-8350 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the FX-8350 has significantly more L2 cache than the Core i7-9700. Despite this, the Core i7-9700 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the FX-8350.
