Core i7-9700 vs Core i5-1350P comparison
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-1350P beats the Core i7-9700 in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i7-9700 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-1350P has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Core i7-9700 has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i7-9700. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i7-9700 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1350P. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Core i5-1350P has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-9700. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core i7-9700 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
