Core i7-8750H vs Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G beats the Core i7-8750H in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i7-8750H in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-8750H has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-8750H. A Core i7-8750H CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has slightly more L2 cache than the Core i7-8750H. Despite this, the Core i7-8750H has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-8750H has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
