Core i7-7700K vs Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-7700K is faster than the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i7-7700K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G. The Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G outputs less heat than Core i7-7700K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i7-7700K. Despite this, the Core i7-7700K has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i7-7700K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
